Anahí Serrano has 20 years of experience in Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and Regulatory Compliance. She advises some of Cannizzo’s most prominent clients, including Italian and U.S. companies with operations in Mexico, which are leaders in the luxury retail, fashion, manufacturing, and construction sectors.

She provides comprehensive corporate legal advice to national and international companies, supporting them in key decision-making processes from incorporation and establishment in Mexico through ongoing corporate governance and regulatory compliance. She has extensive experience in transaction preparation, with a focus on risk mitigation and value creation. Her practice includes negotiating complex contracts in civil, commercial, labor, and personal data protection matters, aligning legal solutions with the strategic objectives of the business.

Currently serves as trusted legal advisor on day-to-day business operations.
  • Represented the world’s largest privately owned fragrance and flavor company in a carve-out transaction in Mexico, coordinating corporate, labor, regulatory, and real estate aspects of a Local Business Transfer Agreement. Currently serves as trusted legal advisor on day-to-day business operations.
  • Advised a top luxury design brand and global leader in glass mosaic production on the orderly closure of its Monterrey operations, providing comprehensive labor counsel.
  • Led multi-jurisdictional product recall procedures across Latin America for an international tire manufacturer, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective crisis management, and brand protection.
  • Provides ongoing labor law advice to OPANAL, an intergovernmental organization integrated by 33 States of Latin America and the Caribbean, who signed and ratified the treaty of the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean.
