Reactivation of some Municipalities in Mexico
Following the strategy for the reactivation of social, educational and economic activities published on May 14 in the Federal Official Gazette, on May 16, 2020 the Ministry of Health published on its website the list of municipalities identified as “Municipios de la Esperanza” that, as of today, will return to normal activities after the publication of the agreement setting forth extraordinary actions to address the health emergency generated by the SARS-CoV2 virus on March 31, 2020.
The relevant municipalities on are characterized by not having presented cases of COVID-19 and not being in the vicinity of municipalities with cases of COVID-19. In this link you will be able to consult the aforementioned municipalities which are located in Chiapas, Chihuahua, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Veracruz and Yucatán.
We will keep you informed of any news and updates that from time to time are communicated by the federal government regarding the reactivation of social, educational and economic activities and the traffic light system by region according to which Mexico will return to the “New Normality”.
