As part of our infrastructure and construction practice we structure the project and carryout due diligence, review transport agreements, proposals, draft and negotiate financing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), service, design-build, supply contracts, review concession agreements, obtain authorizations, acquire land.
We assist our clients in Public Private Partnerships where we follow aspects regarding the due diligence, bid process, procurements, permitting, construction, supply, finance with all levels of government.
We closely work with our clients in the permitting from a federal, state and municipal level and with the process relating to the obtaining access to the land that includes agrarian land or federal zones.
We have experience with federal, state and municipal procurement process, regulations, legal framework and dispute-resolution practices. We navigate with our clients in the process of securing government contracts including proposal preparation, evaluation of proposals, the Q&A process, discussions, offer structure, contract pricing, award process.
We work with owners, developers, contractors, consultants, engineers, project managers, and government entities on high-value infrastructure projects mainly in industrial, commercial leisure and energy sectors, guiding them through different procurement techniques and assisting with drafting and negotiating the construction documentation.
In advising on construction documentation, our construction team is constantly drawn into design, engineering and construction issues, understanding of project administration, risk management and the financing of construction projects. We also regularly act on operational and facilities management contracts.
We assist our clients from project structuring and procurement, contract development and implementation, and project administration to risk avoidance and mitigation and dispute resolution, protecting client’s interests in all manner of legal proceedings, negotiation, mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. We assist our clients and manage the litigation disputes across the entire spectrum of public- and private-sector development and construction activity. We are frequently called on to provide risk, valuation and schedule assessments on complex infrastructure and commercial projects for contractors and owners.
